As you mention in your "About our Blog" section, it can be tricky to define what makes a film "cult". I am particularly pleased with your post about Tarantino because you've included two films that he wrote but did not direct. Indeed, it is so easy to focus solely on the director and forget the screenwriter. First of all, a film cannot be made without a script. But there are also those screenwriters with a unique voice who do make a film really special before it ever gets a director - I am thinking Aaron Sorkin, Shane Black, Jonathan Nolan... For the anecdote, when I saw Reservoir Dogs back in the day, I was so blown away that I read the screenplay and was inspired to start writing one myself!
